Description
The New Jersey Symphony was chosen to perform for the Spring for Music Festival at Carnegie Hall on May 9, 2012. North American Orchestras are selected to participate in the festival based on how innovative and interesting their programs are. The Symphony played music by Busoni and two of his students, Edgar Varese and Kurt Weill. NJ Symphony Music Director Jacques Lacombe conducted. Marc-Andre Hamelin played the Busoni Piano Concerto. The men of the Westminster Choir also performed.
