Description
Arts Education in New Jersey was celebrated on May 10, 2012 at the War Memorial in Trenton. The findings of the 2011 NJ Arts Education Census Project were announced and the Governor’s Awards in Arts Education ceremony took place, complete with performances from some of the state’s most gifted and talented high school students. Janet Brown of Grantmakers in the Arts, Nick Paleologos of the NJ State Council on the Arts, and Bob Morrison of Quadrant Arts Education Research all weigh in on the state of arts education in New Jersey, and its importance for students in the 21st century.
