Description
America’s newest dinosaur attraction is built overlooking a former quarry and active paleontological dig site in Mantua, New Jersey. The Edelman Fossil Park & Museum bridges the present with the prehistoric past through immersive exhibits and hands-on experiences. Built on a site rich in dinosaur fossils, executive director, founder, and world-renowned paleontologist Kenneth Lacovara describes his hopes for the museum, and how he coordinated with Thomas Wong of Ennead Architects and Andrew Sniderman of KSS Architects to incorporate green building techniques; the museum uses no fossil fuels in its operation. At the Edelman Fossil Park & Museum, their goal is to inspire the next generation of scientists.
