“Life of Pi” was nominated for 11 Academy Awards, including Best Film Editing and Best Director; it won Best Director for Ang Lee. Editor Tim Squyres was also nominated for Best Film Editing on Ang Lee’s “Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon.” In this short clip featured on NJ Today prior to the 2013 Academy Awards, Squyres talks about editing “Life of Pi” in 3D, the first time for both him and Ang Lee.
