Description
In 1964, Atlantic City was the site of the Democratic National Convention at a time when Civil Rights struggle was in full swing. That event plus others are commemorated in the Civil Rights Garden located next to the Carnegie Library. It was designed by Larry Kirkland with Clement Price serving as the historical consultant.
