Meeting Marlo Thomas for an interview in the cabaret/lounge of the George Street Playhouse was an event. She had just arrived from a taping with Jimmy Fallon in New York about her giving campaign for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, founded by her father, entertainer Danny Thomas. Her voice sounds a bit deeper but otherwise the same  as it did on That Girl (1966-1971).  She’s impressive – intense, funny, deeply caring, and very busy.  We’re producing a story about  the new play she’s starring in for our December 22 show; in the meantime, check out this preview of our interview with Marlo Thomas.
