Description
Hurricane Diane is a world-premiere comedy by Madeleine George, the Mellon Playwright-in-Residence at Two River Theater in Red Bank, NJ. The plot has Dionysus, god of wine, theater, and ritual madness, appearing in a suburb very much like Red Bank. This time, he’s a lesbian perma-culture gardener from Vermont. Chaos ensues as Diane persuades the women in one cul-de-sac to give up their lawns.
