Description
Choreographer and dancer Nai-Ni Chen immigrated to the US from Taiwan over thirty years ago. Now her dance company is performing at Ellis Island, where over twelve million people first came to America. State of the Arts visits Nai-Ni Chen Dance Company’s Harlem rehearsal space, then travels to Ellis Island for their performance at the Imagine Ellis Island Festival, featuring artists from China, India, Korea, and Mongolia.
