Johnny Cash died 10 years ago in September 2003. State of the Arts looks back at an extraordinary interview with Rosanne Cash, filmed just 2 months after her father died.  The singer reflects on her childhood, creativity, motherhood, her own reluctant path to the stage, and her relationship with her famous father.  Producer Eric Schultz talked with Rosanne Cash before a concert at “Outpost in the Suburbs” in Montclair, NJ.  Rosanne ended the evening with the song September When It Comes, a prescient work, she said, given her father’s death the previous month. It was the only song she ever recorded with Johnny Cash.
