Description
Refugee teens from Syria, Ethiopia, Pakistan, Afghanistan, and Myanmar (Burma) create a public artwork at Say It With Clay in Collingswood, New Jersey, where teens can express themselves as they adjust to new lives in America. Say It With Clay founder Abbie Kasoff is a believer in the healing, therapeutic power of making things with clay for all kinds of people.
This project was a collaboration of Say It With Clay, the South Jersey Cultural Alliance, and Catholic Charities/Diocese of Camden, with support from the New Jersey State Council on the Arts.
Produced by Susan Wallner; Narrated by Dan Gordon; Videography by Kirk Sohr.
