This story captures Carolyn Dorfman Dance as they celebrated 30 years with two stunning new works. Carolyn started her dance company in Union, New Jersey 35 years ago. The acclaimed ensemble has now performed around the world.
Carolyn Dorfman uses movement as metaphor and tells stories through dance. She is the daughter of Holocaust survivors, and some of her major works honor her Jewish heritage. Other works tell more abstract stories, but humanity is always at the core.
