Seven NJ State Council on the Arts fellowship-winning choreographers reveal new work. We hear from Erin Carlisle Norton, Pallavi Degwekar Shaikh, Nai-Ni Chen, Tsai Hsi Hung, Dare Ayorinde, Barkha Patel, and Robert Mark Burke about the challenges of creating during the year of Covid.

All seven choreographers had their new works featured in a two-evening streaming event presented by the South Orange Performing Arts Center (SOPAC). This State of the Arts special features performance excerpts and hears directly from each choreographer about their creative process, from traditional Kathak dance to cutting-edge filmic explorations.

Plus, you can watch the performances in full on demand at SOPAC’s website through June 30, 2021!
