Description
Deborah Jack blends film and poetry in immersive video installations that explore the eroding coastlines of St. Maarten and New Orleans. State of the Arts joins her on location at UNO Gallery in New Orleans at the closing ceremony for her multi-channel video installation, a sea desalts…, part of the city-wide Prospect.6 exhibition focusing on climate change. Also included is a visit with Deborah to the Gulf Coast in Louisiana, and to her studio in Jersey City to see how she draws upon science and personal experience to create her powerful visual narratives.
