Description
A visit to the Collingswood, NJ studio of sculptor Jedediah Morfit. Morfit’s white, bas-relief technique is modeled after ancient ceramic friezes, but his parts are made of urethane plastic and full of contemporary symbolism. Morfit demonstrates his casting technique, and describes the medieval and post-apocalyptic imagery of his work. Morfit is a professor of sculpture at the Richard Stockton College of New Jersey.
